had to fuck around with this sooooo long tonight. I had to figure out a way to download a windows driver on my G1. the driver was zipped and the built-in browser would not save the download. I installed opera mini and was finally able to save the download. booyah.
Handbrake Pain In The Ass »« Fixing My Pixelpipe on Android
Was having such a hard time with this for a while. It was bothering the hell out of me. This Evernote/Pixelpipe thing was THE killer app that made me love this clunky G1.
It just stopped working. No updates, no nothing. I dicked around with the settings on the pixelpipe website, I tweaked my WordPress blogs, could not fix it.
So tonight I tried looking through the Android market and found some new versions of the app. This one does not have the Evernote name attached to it, I think this will work now.
android tip »« Execute Arbitrary Java Code in Eclipse
I just found a great tip today. The tip is about Scrapbook pages in the Eclipse IDE. There’s so much to Eclipse, and even after using it for years I think I only know about 5% of the feature set. They need to improve the way that one discovers the features. MS has always done IDEs better than anyone. I suspect Eclipse is possibly equal maybe even superior, but not until it is less opaque.
The tip…just create a new Scrapbook page in your project…put your code in the new editor window…make sure you fully-qualify the class names (no import statements allowed), select all the code, right-click and select Execute.
